Suzanne Marie Ix, of Watertown, Massachusetts went to eternal rest on March 26, 2018. Suzy was born April 7, 1962 in Englewood, New Jersey. She was the energetic catering manager for Tables of Content at Harvard University for many years, often getting in her 20,000 steps by 11am. Suzy graduated from The Academy of The Holy Angels in Demarest, NJ, Lasell College in Newton, MA, and Simmons College where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education and developed a deep connection with children. She was the adoring mother to her dog Macy, an exceptional cook, a diehard Patriots fan, and a lover of the beach, spending long summer days on Long Beach Island, NJ and Nahant beach. Predeceased by parents Frank and Marilyn Ix and brother Christopher. Beloved sister of Frank ( Betsy), Courtney Thompson( Robert), Terry (Beth), Alison Lutes( David), Anthony( Patricia), Brian( Karen), Stephen( Karen), Catherine, Gerard (Lisa). She was also the favorite aunt to 16 nieces and nephews who counted on her for the family shenanigans, not to mention her Swedish meatballs, amazing brunches, and homemade boursin. The family is planning a memorial service later this spring in New Jersey. Donations in Suzy’s name to your local ASPCA branch or animal shelter are appreciated.
